Dylan Teo Jun Yi (right) from K1 couldn’t have asked for more for Mother’s Day celebration at his NurtureStars Preschool centre in SAFRA Toa Payoh. Mommy was there, so was his father, to join him in various activities. They also helped him to craft a personalised greeting card – for mom.

It meant the world to him and all the children celebrating the special day with their mothers in all the seven NurtureStars centres on 9 and 10 May. It was probably one of the happiest and most memorable moments for them, bonding and doing things together – in class.

To start the day, teachers read heartwarming tales about mothers and the special roles they play in bringing up their children. Then children swung into action crafting photo frames,  message cards and even paper flowers for their mothers, and made snacks,  such as nicely decorated rice cakes to savour.
