Singapore Armed Forces Day is celebrated on 1st July every year. SAF Day is a special day for the members of the Armed Forces to reaffirm their pledge of loyalty and dedication to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the nation.

It is an important milestone to recognise the contributions of past and present national servicemen. Our NSmen have served the nation’s critical need for defence, security, peace and stability in Singapore’s nation-building journey.

NurtureStars preschool @ SAFRA Toa Payoh celebrated this day with a story published from our curriculum team, written by some of our teachers – Our Dad, Our Hero.  Some of our children also have their faces painted to experience what their daddies have gone through in their army training.

Our teachers also entertained the children by sharing stories on the Singapore Armed Forces and its important role in safeguarding the nation and to recognise the contributions of past and present national servicemen (NSmen).
