Father’s Day is celebrated internationally every year in June to recognise the contributions fathers make to the growth and development of their children.
Just like Mother’s Day, the event is commemorated every year by the children at all the six NurtureStars centres.

This year, activities were held at the centres a couple of days before the actual date of 18 June, and fathers were invited to join their children.

The children put up a song and dance programme for their fathers, and crafted cards with heartfelt messages to show their appreciation to them. In a sharing session, the teacher encouraged their young charges to verbalise their love and respect for their fathers.

At some centres, the children also had the opportunity to personally make sandwich treats for their fathers.

It was an excellent opportunity for the parents to join them in the activities and bond with their children during school time.
