All the children at NurtureStars preschool had a whale of time on 22 March learning how to save water to mark World Water Day.

Teachers used stories and examples to reinforce importance of adopting essential water saving habits. Such as taking shorter showers and turning off the tap while soaping, and using reduced flush after urination,

The children then practiced using a mug to fill water for brushing teeth, using water in recycled bottles and scoops to wash their hands, and washing fruit in a tub of water.

The water saving message was further reinforced with an art and craft session. They colored images of water Wally and created posters on the importance of protecting our precious water resource.
