It was “freedom” and happiness, as students from six of our seven NurtureStars Preschool centres whipped up a series of rousing and memorable performances at their year-end concert on 29 November 2023.

NurtureStars’ preschoolers were able to perform live again this year for their annual concert. Due to the Covid pandemic, the graduation ceremony and concert for kindergarten 2 students was previously confined to their classrooms and shared through video recording..

The event held at the Cultural Centre in Republic Polytechnic saw a total of graduating 133 K2 students put up an energetic and joyful show with support of those from K1. This year’s concert theme was “Celebrations of our Journey”. It aptly reflected the children’s joy of being freed from the shackles of the Covid pandemic.

With a repertoire of songs, drama, dance and even gymnastics, the children showcased NurtureStars’ values of “Stronger Bodies, Sharper Minds”. The performances were tagged with spirited themes such as freedom, happiness, perseverance, resilience and being healthy and strong.

Watched by some 600 parents and family members, the children relived and shared happy memories of their preschool journey with their every move. What a wonderful way to sign off into a new level of learning experience in primary schooling!

In his message for the concert (Ret) Ho Lye-Sum, Chairman, NurtureStars Joint Management Committee thanked all parents for their continuous support and encouragement to teachers.
