Mother’s Day is a special occasion to honor and celebrate the incredible contributions of mothers in our lives. This year, at NurtureStars Toa Payoh, we embraced a joyful celebration filled with handmade dumplings, singing, and craft-making that allowed children to showcase their love for their mothers.

Teachers engaged with the children to brainstorm the activities they would love to do for their moms. It was heartwarming to see them eagerly sharing ideas. Some children got creative with flower pots, painting them and planting small flowers inside, symbolizing their love blooming for their mothers.

As the children created their crafts, teachers encouraged them to express what their mother meant to them, culminating in a lovely collection of endearing messages and artwork.

Lastly, we got our little stars to express their feelings, and they were excited to showcase their talents by singing and dancing. The song they chose was one that echoed love and gratitude towards mothers.
