The joy of NurtureStars preschool children graduating from kindergarten for a new journey in primary schooling is once again captured on video this year. Having been familiar virtual classes and the use of technology, they took it in their strides again to perform their concert items in front of the camera instead of an audience.

Parents received a link to subsequently watch the Graduation Concert 2022 online in the comfort of their homes with the children.

There was a slight change this year. The presentation of certificates to the children was done “live” in all the six centres. Parents were able to log into Zoom on the day of the event to see their children in graduating gear and mortar boards receiving their certificates.  They also heard selected young valedictorians deliver their speeches.

The concert performances were put up by each of the six centres over the first two weeks of December so that parents could also watch them online at home. Every centre had its own programme, with one English performance, one Mandarin item and a gymnastic presentation.

There were energetic dancing, elated singing and fun moments, with the children reliving and sharing their happy memories in school. Japanese cello music accompanied the gymnastic event, which showcased bold and fun moves to encourage the children to stay fit and healthy.

Thanks to technology, the children of today can look forward to being parents themselves in the future and sharing the joyful moments of their early years with their own children.
